Thunder Chicken Event 1:

• Event Check-in

Event Check In 10 am to 11 am

Before being added to the schedule, you will need to check in and have a tech inspection completed:

• Upon Arrival @ The Event: You will need to go to the registration desk to be checked in by verifying your ticket, class, name, driver handle, and lap transponder.

• Race Operations Check-in: After you complete the above item, you will place your car on the track and check in with the Race Operations Director.

  • The Race Operation Director will add you to the race, verify your class, and have you run a few test laps to verify the system is catching your transponder.​

• Classes are: Arca Rookie, Arca, Nationwide, Cup, Truck, and Ladies (6 Classes)

Practice Session 11 am to 11:30 am

Practice session will be open but limited to 8 drivers on the track at 1 time.

• Practice sessions will be open for 3 minutes with a 1-minute gap between sessions for drivers to swap out to the next session.

• Duration: 3 minutes per round.

• Timing System: It will call your laps every lap, so please pay attention.

Drivers Meeting 11:30 am 11:45 am

Drivers meeting is required for all drivers. We will review the track rules and overall schedule.​

Qualifying Session Noon pm to 2:00 pm

Qualifying rounds group drivers into balanced heats based on their current Seeding Round.

• Qualifying sessions will be open for 5 minutes with a 2-minute gap between rounds.

  • ​If you are not ready within 2 minutes, you will be SKIPPED!!!!!

• Session Time: 5 minutes per qualifying round per class, plus the 2-minute gap for a total of 7 minutes of seeding per class.

  • Total 1.5 of Qualifying.

• Duration: 5 minutes per round.

• Scoring Method: Ranked by the average of the top 5 laps over the session.

Break 2 pm to 2:30 pm

Time to get some food and have the raffle.

Mains (Finals) 2:30pm to 4:30pm

Main events represent the definitive feature races calculated from your best qualifiing round.

• Round Structure: Main Feature Brackets (e.g., A-Main, B-Main).

• Duration/Length: Class Dependent

  • Arca Rookie: 40 Laps.

  • Arca: 60 Laps

  • Nationwide: 80 Laps

  • Cup: 70 Laps

  • Truck: 80 Laps

  • Ladies: 40 Laps

• Starting Grid Format: Reverse start order (qualified drivers with the highest performance start at the back of their respective main).
