Racing Class Rules

ARCA Rookie Class (The Novice / Workshop Class)

Designed as the entry point for drivers with no racing experience.

  • Body: Stock Losi NASCAR Cup bodies (Camry, Mustang, Camaro), but often designated with ARCA-style numbers/decals.

  • Motor & ESC: Completely stock brushed motor and stock 25A 2-in-1 ESC/Receiver.

  • Transmitter: Stock radio that came in the box

  • Throttle Limit: The throttle must be limited to 75% on the transmitter.

  • Driveline: No Changes

  • Gearing: Strict stock gearing

  • Battery: Stock Spektrum 1400mAh 2S Smart LiPo only.

  • Tires: Stock Yellow medium compound tires that came in the box. Glue on the front sidewalls is permitted to prevent traction rolls.

  • Suspension: No Changes

  • Upgrades: None. Only basic maintenance, bearing oil, and differential grease changes are allowed.

ARCA Class (True Spec Class)

This class is meant for the driver with some experience but who needs more practice.

  • Body: Stock Losi NASCAR Cup bodies (Camry, Mustang, Camaro), but often designated with ARCA-style numbers/decals.

  • Motor & ESC: Completely stock brushed motor and stock 25A 2-in-1 ESC/Receiver. 

  • Transmitter: Stock radio that came in the box

  • Throttle Limit: Up to the driver.

  • Driveline: No Changes

  • Gearing: Strict stock gearing

  • Battery: Stock Spektrum 1400mAh 2S Smart LiPo only.

  • Tires: Stock Yellow Sidewall Medium or Soft compound tires that came in the box. Glue on the front sidewalls is permitted to prevent traction rolls.

  • Suspension: No Changes

  • Upgrades: None. Only basic maintenance, bearing oil, and differential grease changes are allowed.

Nationwide Class (The Sportsman / Super Stock Class)

This class bridges the gap, allowing racers to tweak the chassis behavior and extract a bit more speed out of the brushed platform without breaking the bank.

  • Body: Stock Losi NASCAR bodies, often running distinct Xfinity/Nationwide scale paint schemes or wraps.

  • Motor & ESC: Stock brushed motor, upgraded ESC

  • Transmitter: Run a preferred radio transmitter.

  • Throttle Limit: Up to the driver.

  • Driveline: Upgraded metal drive axles, aluminum center driveshafts, and metal differentials are highly recommended to survive the brushless torque.

  • Gearing: Strict stock gearing

  • Battery: Stock Spektrum 1400mAh 2S Smart LiPo only.

  • Tires: Allowed to run the official Losi Red Soft Compound replacement tires.

  • Suspension: Spring Rate, Shock Fluid, Stock Shocks

  • Upgrades: Suspention and shocks.

Cup Class (The Pro / Open Brushless Class)

The top-tier car class where things get fast. The spec limitations on the power plant are dropped, forcing drivers to manage real horsepower.

  • Body: Stock Losi NASCAR bodies. Must have numbers on the roof and both doors.

  • Motor & ESC: Open Brushless.

  • Transmitter: Open radio and receiver choices.

  • Throttle Limit: Up to the driver.

  • Driveline: Upgraded metal drive axles, aluminum center driveshafts, and metal differentials are highly recommended to survive the brushless torque.

  • Gearing: Strict stock gearing

  • Battery: Stock Spektrum 1400mAh 2S Smart LiPo only.

  • Tires: Allowed to run the official Losi Red Soft Compound replacement tires.

  • Suspension: Shock springs and oil are open for tuning to dial in left-turn weight transfer.

  • Upgrades: Suspention and shocks.

Truck Class (The Craftsman Truck Series)

A crowd-favorite class that changes the aerodynamic and handling characteristics of the truck completely due to the high-downforce tailgate.

  • Body: Requires an aftermarket 1/12 scale NASCAR truck body, most notably the Pro-Line Craftsman Truck Series body. It must be cut strictly on the factory trim lines.

  • Chassis & Power: Runs on the identical Losi Nationwide 1/12th chassis.

Ladies Class (For the ladies to show them boys how to race!!!)

Designed as the entry point for our favorite women in our lives. 

  • Body: Stock Losi NASCAR Cup bodies (Camry, Mustang, Camaro), but often designated with ARCA-style numbers/decals.

  • Motor & ESC: Completely stock brushed motor and stock 25A 2-in-1 ESC/Receiver. 

  • Throttle Limit: The throttle must be limited to 75% on the transmitter.

  • Gearing: Strict stock gearing

  • Battery: Stock Spektrum 1400mAh 2S Smart LiPo only.
